The “Tripper” is tougher for outdoor use but lacks the soft comfortable soles that made Sanuk famous, and the twenty-first century descendent of the flip flop thong sandal.

I left a review about a week ago, how I ordered a size 9 and it was too small. So I reordered these in size 10. Was way too big. Someone mentioned Sanuk should offer these in 1/2 sizes, and I agree. I really wanted these shoes! As always, Zappos couldn’t be easier to work with. Cheers!

Love the shoes. Very snug fit but you have to probably buy a size smaller to avoid your heel slipping and to achieve said snugness.

Bought these from a brick and mortar store while on vacation. Great shoes. Very comfortable and breathable and they look good. They are a little slubby, but less so than most of the other Sanuk loafers due to the fact the seams are not distressed. They also have a better sole with more support and cushion than the flip flop type sole.

I like them. They are a laid back unstructured shoe. They fit is spot on for me. I have a very neutral sized size 11 foot and that is what I ordered. They are comfortable. Not world class comfortable but still quite comfortable. There is plenty of cush but pretty much devoid of any arch support. That doesn’t bother me though. I can wear them all day with no discomfort. The look is kind of unique and I like it and have come to kind of expect that from Sanuk. It is 80F right now and my feet are not sweating so that is a bonus because they lack those arch vent holes and so I expected they might be a tad hot. But no so much. Could go well with jeans and certainly bathing suite and shorts. I would recommend these.

I used these on vacation in Greece walking up and down small streets and stairs. They were very comfortable and I didn’t slip once. Held up great. I will buy another pair. Size fit true.

Ok, The tripper is a gamechanger! I have been a Sanuk purist for over 15 years. I got my first hemp sidewalk Surfers in ’08 and have been in yoga mat flip flops for a long time too! And I wear my Sanuks INTO THE GROUND! The Tripper is a little more grown up and little more substantial but this does not take away from the sidewalk surfer feel. I also like that I now have a pair that does not fray. I love the fray, but these are my “dressy” Sanuks!
